“I’m 23 years old. My family is composed of my parents, husband and five sisters. I learned about craft making through a man named Noé, who told me about several courses that were being taught at a Lake Atitlan Training Center. Knowing that my products are being sold all over the world makes me joyful. I take inspiration from my handicrafts themselves: I just love making them. The development of my community is something that I wish for. My handicrafts contribute to my community through their beauty, which attracts the tourists that purchase them”.
